About Rania Combs
I believe every family deserves high-quality estate planning services, not just the ones who can afford a partner at a big firm downtown. That conviction has shaped everything about how I practice.
My Philosophy
I founded Rania Combs Law, PLLC after years of watching people put off estate planning because it felt too complicated, expensive, or difficult to fit into a busy life.
Most people know they need an estate plan, but they procrastinate. The reasons vary, but it’s often a combination of not wanting to think about an emotionally painful subject, lacking the time and energy to get it done, and fearing that an attorney’s services will cost too much. Families with young children often assume they don’t have an estate worth planning or that their families will take care of everything if the need arises.
As both a mother and an attorney, I understand the legal needs of families. I know that all parents, regardless of their net worth, need comprehensive planning to ensure their wishes are followed and their families are protected. And I find great personal satisfaction helping families create estate plans that provide them with peace of mind.
My goal was to create a firm where every client can get the legal services they need without the stress of fighting traffic to get to a stuffy downtown office, where they can have a real conversation with their attorney, where complex legal concepts are translated into plain English so that they walk away with a clear understanding of every decision they’ve made.
The mission of Rania Combs Law PLLC has always been to make estate planning easier and more transparent, without ever cutting corners on quality.
Providing virtual consultations and high-quality legal services at a reasonable flat fee removes the obstacles that prevent families from protecting the people they love.
My Practice
I believe estate planning is about more than just producing documents. It’s normal not to have complete clarity about what you want to do at the start of the process. You may simply have a story, a few goals, and a worry you may not be able to fully articulate. The core of what I do is helping you make sense of your priorities and navigate your options to develop a strategy that protects what matters most to you.
With that foundation in place, I create the legal documents that protect you if something goes wrong. These may include Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills. And because a plan is only as good as its execution, I also help coordinate all your assets, such as real estate, financial accounts, and life insurance policies, to ensure everything works together seamlessly.
I work virtually, which means you can meet with me from your kitchen table, your office, or wherever life takes you that day. No traffic. No parking. Just a straightforward conversation at your convenience about how to achieve your estate planning goals.
Who I Work With
Some plans are straightforward. Others take time to get right. Although every situation is different, all my clients share a deep desire to protect and provide for the people they love. That is what makes my work meaningful.

Working with a web-based attorney is straightforward and secure. Here’s what to expect from our first conversation to your completed estate plan.
We start with a free introductory conference by video or phone. I'll learn about your family, your goals, and what you want your estate plan to accomplish.
Based on our conversation, I'll recommend the right plan and provide a firm, written fee quote before any work begins. No surprises.
I prepare your estate planning documents and share them through a secure client portal. You'll have the opportunity to review everything and ask questions.
Once you're satisfied, I'll walk you through the signing requirements for your state with clear, step-by-step instructions so your documents are properly executed.
When you work with me, you will talk to me directly. Not a paralegal or an assistant who takes notes and passes them along. I’ll be the one guiding you every step of the way.
01
I will ask you questions about your family, your assets, and your goals. I will explain your options in plain language, without unnecessary jargon or pressure.
02
I will be direct with you if I think a particular approach is not the right fit for your situation. Good estate planning depends on an honest conversation, not a sales pitch.
03
Once we've agreed on a plan, I will prepare your documents and walk you through them so that you understand what each one does and how they work together.
I’m committed to helping you achieve your estate planning goals.
