A Season of Peace
Texas is the home of a diverse population, so in addition to working with clients whose families have lived in Texas for generations, I’ve also had the privilege of working with families from all over the world.
I’ve worked with clients from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Central and South America. During our planning conferences, I’ve learned about their different customs and cultures, and their hopes and dreams for the future.
The unifying thread all my clients share is the deep love they have for their families. They rejoice when a child or grandchild is born, and take pride in their achievements. They hope to live in safe neighborhoods with good schools. They worry when a child is making bad choices or when a job unexpectedly comes to an end. They grieve with the illness or passing of a loved one.
That is true regardless of the color of their skin, their nationality, or their religious background.
During this season of peace, may our hearts be opened to the universal ties that bind us all as we remember that despite our differences, we are all part of the same human family.
Happy Holidays!
Rania
