As the year quickly draws to an end, I received some unexpected surprises.
A few weeks ago, I was quoted in a Texas Lawyer article titled: Unbundling of Legal Services: Is Limited-Scope Representation the Future for Firms? The article highlighted several Texas law firms, including mine, that offer limited-scope representation to give clients pricing choices.
This month, I was honored to be included in Houstonia Magazine’s list of “Top Lawyers” for 2013! Being named to this list is especially meaningful considering that when I launched my solo practice four years ago, very few people had heard of a completely web-based law practice and many questioned it’s viability. What a difference four years makes!
So I’d like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to my family, friends, clients and so many colleagues who have mentored and inspired me through the years. Embarking on this journey was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I’ve learned more than I could have imagined through my experience. Thank you for all your support! I am grateful.
